Since 1978, Meurer Research, Inc. has been dedicated to researching, developing and manufacturing products for the water and wastewater industries. MRI uses in house research and development as well as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to further develop and test new products prior to manufacturing. All products are patented, sold, engineered and manufactured by MRI. As a result, MRI has over 2000 projects, in the United States and abroad.
Since 1978 MRI has been located in the Denver Metro Area. In 2003, MRI moved into a new 30,000 ft2 facility located in Golden, Colorado that was designed and built by MRI.
MRI has over 50 patents, both foreign and domestic, issued in the water and wastewater market. MRI products are available in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Asia. For more information about any of these locations, contact MRI for the local representative.
MRI's staff of 40+ employees consist of administrative personal, engineering and manufacturing
The in house sales staff at MRI have a combined 50 years of experience in water / wastewater applications. MRI utilizes a sales rep network throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The MRI staff is available for presentations and pilot testing.
MRI offers in house engineering and design of projects. Since the engineering and manufacturing are done in house, projects can be customized to meet the end users needs. Structural, hydraulic engineering and CFD analysis are available.
All key personal are involved with R&D. CFD analysis along with in house test tanks and simulators are used to develop new products.
All of the manufacturing performed at MRI is from stainless steel or aluminum. No carbon steel is allowed. Fabrication includes CNC controlled punching machine, CNC controlled forming machine, and miscellaneous fabrication equipment.
MRI maintains a staff of eight welders certified in stick, mig and tig welding
MRI maintains its own Quality Control Department. All manufactured parts are checked to insure accuracy. Assemblies are pre-assembled in the shop to insure fit. All shipments are photographed prior to leaving MRI.
The Control Panel Facility is in the MRI facility. Complete control systems are manufactured consisting of touch screens, PLC's and related electrical components. The Control Panel Facility writes programs for IDEC, Allen Bradley, Modicon, Bristol Babcock and other major brands
MRI employs service personal who are responsible for: equipment start-up, dimension confirmation, troubleshooting and repairs
